  • This is rich!!!! (snicker)

"I'm going to commit my legacy from my father, $10 million," Harris told Hannity on Fox News. "When I lost him, I said I would win this for my father."

Harris' father, George Harris Jr., was a prominent banker in Polk County who is said to have been worth more than $100 million when he died of a heart attack on Jan. 13.

Hannity has been a vocal supporter of Harris, helping her at past fund-raisers and vowing to help put together a bus tour in Florida promoting her campaign this year.

While Harris' $10 million is a bold financial statement, some political insiders question whether the move will save her struggling campaign. Investing that much of her own money in the race isn't likely to have a big effect, said Larry Sabato, the director of politics at the University of Virginia.

"I'm not sure $100 million could elect Katherine Harris," Sabato said. "You can spend $100 million marketing dog food, but if the dogs won't eat, it isn't going to sell." LMAO!!!!
