Out of the Loop

Is Bush and his minions still trying to start shit with my governor and my senator??? Someone needs to tell Michael Brown (lying ass "Brownie") that he is definitely not welcome in the state of Louisiana for decades to come (actually never and a DAY!!!).....The ones who have been most affected by this have been the kids....My son sees the truth in all of this so do all the kids I come in contact with....I listen to their little voices singing along to the song "Louisiana 1927" on cd in the back seat of the car and hear them sing the words "It rained real hard and it rained for a real long time--six feet of water in the streets of Evangeline..." as they shake their sad little heads.....My little brother who takes to musical instruments like a duck does to water (ie the piano, guitar and drums) fell in love with Kansas Joe's "When the Levee Breaks" and he told me that he is determined to learn that song....Corey (who loves spelling and math and who aces all his spelling "pretests" so that he doesn't have to take the actual spelling tests on Fridays) has committed himself to learn the acordian soon.....Not bad for African-American babies is it William Bennett?!!!

I remember listening to a little Black child on MSN video as he was distraught over his grandmother being without her blood pressure medicine for five long days in New Orleans....That little boy pretty much broke it down for the rest of the nation...The kids are watching all of this and they are taking note....Kids have a greater concept of what is right and wrong than adults do because adults have the ability to rationalize....My son definitely knows who Governor Blanco is and he definitely knows who President Bush is.....

Bush needs to concentrate more on restoring the wetlands instead of trying to start shit with Governor Blanco...What part of wetlands doesn't his ass understand??? What part?!!! These kids can read through your intentions Mr. President....The children (the youth and our future) are going to remember these recent events for many years to come...They are not stuck on stupid as the adults are (especially the baby boomers)....Remember this baby boomers "old trees don't bend..." They snap, break or blow over.....Young tender vines and branches are better able to withstand the winds--especially the winds of change....

I'm glad that I am not the only one that can see that dark forces have overtaken this country...Even the kids can see it....Right now I'm missing my son sitting in the back seat of the car singing "Oh (Madeline)" by Zachary Richard....He is still in Houston....
